Reflections Pt. II

Earlier this month, I took a trip down memory lane and brought you gorgeous photos from my Mediterranean cruise with my best friends and promised you more when I found them so here they are! Enjoy!

We came upon this gorgeous garden shortly after we began our walk in the city of Monaco.

We came across this huge structure and took turns to use it to capture the amazing city of Monaco in the background with us inside.

Mount Vesuvius in the distance as we arrived in Pompeii.

Ever since I learned about Pompeii in National Geographic when I was a little girl, on the travel bucket list it went. Such a beautiful place with a sad history.

The city of Pompeii was so surreal. I couldn't believe I was at such historic grounds.

A glimpse of Athens from the boat as we were leaving.

Me in beautiful Santorini.
More to come soon! Thank you so much for reading! Xx

Reflections.

The temperatures are rising. The smell of barbeque is in the air.  The cracking sounds of bats colliding with the roaring audience can be heard from the Ballpark in Arlington. Baseball season is in full swing (pun intended). Air conditioners everywhere are cranked up to their fullest potential and shorts are a huge wardrobe staple. Summer has finally arrived in Texas.

I know a lot of people who absolutely love summer and the high temperatures. Personally, I think people let the heat get to them (especially if they live in Texas). I never look forward to summers. I mean, who wants to be hot, sweaty, and have their clothes stick to them? Not this girl.

For me, summer brings back one great memory: Going on a Mediterranean cruise with my best friends for three weeks. For the last two years, I've been daydreaming of when I will be able to go back. Until then, I will share some moments with you.

The breath-taking view as our ship arrived to visit the gorgeous city of Monaco.

The amazing scenery we took in after walking all over Monaco.

A photo (just like the millions found on Google) of the Trevi Fountain by yours truly.

My gorgeous bestie, Alin, and I right before we went to the Vatican.

The postcard-perfect photo of the restaurant where we had lunch in the middle of a volcano crater in Santorini.

I dreamed of seeing these blue doors up close for so long and it was even more beautiful in-person!

I wore a long, light-weight tank from Forever 21 with leggings and sandals on this day to be as comfy as possible, but also did it on purpose to juxtapose the blue I'd be seeing. ;)

The ride on jetfoil to the Island of Capri was amazing. Beautiful blue water everywhere.

Confession: We didn't take the lifts since we thought we were going to miss the boat to take back to the ship, so we climbed the mountainside. All of it. The view was very worth it!

Me in Rome. The Coliseum was right in front of me in this photo.

I hope you enjoy part of my journey that I miss so much. Stay tuned for more as I find more photos!

Thank you so much for reading! Xx
